Validation of licences

Validation of license:
Those who wish to exercise privileges at aircraft registered in the Aircraft Register of
the Slovak Republic must hold a valid licence issued by CAA SK, by JAA Member
state or a valid Licence Statement of Validity issued by CAA SK. Licence Statement
of Validity is a document issued by CAA SK to an applicant after he/she fulfils
prescribed requirements. This statement is valid only together with valid licence and
valid Medical Certificate/Assessment. Period of validity is contained in every
Statement, and it is maximum 12 months. CAA SK shall issue a Licence Statement of
Validity up to Private Pilot Licence (PPL) level privileges to a holder of valid licence
issued by ICAO Contracting State on the basis of property filled application, valid pilot
licence, valid Medical Assessment/Certificate, Class 2 or Class 1 and payment of
relevant administration fee ( fiscal stamp in value 4.50 EUR ).
Please note, that Mr. Radoslav Papšo has been appointed by the organiser of the
17th FAI WRFC 2010 as liaison officer for the pilot licence validation. He can be

Applicant for licence validation for private flights only shall provide:
- to fill in an application for validation of a flight crew licence - written original
application of the pilot with his/her original signature (the application is attached);
- a copy of his/her current and valid licence (pending licence is not accepted);
- a valid Medical Certificate (Class 2) according to JAR-FCL 3 or ICAO Annex 1;
- a copy of his/her passport;
- copies of logbook (two last pages),
- payment (Stamps 4.50 €).
The certified copies of the required documents must be attached to this signed
original application form.
Please note that failure to submit all of the required documents may lead to a delay in
the processing of your validation.

The organiser will purchase the stamps for inclusion with the pilot's documents, and
liaison officer for the pilot licence validation will go to the CAA of the Slovak Republic
to handle all paperwork. For payment, the pilot – applicant for licence validation will
add the cost of the stamps in the wire-transfer for his/her registration payment to the
organiser.
